Environmental site
assessments investigate the likelihood of environmental problems. These
problems are identified by looking at the potential risks and impacts
associated with the past and present handling of hazardous or regulated
materials. Through interviews, historic records searches, and site
inspection, site environmental conditions and potential environmental
concerns are evaluated. ASTM Phase 1 and NJDEP Preliminary Assessments
as well as lender specific studies are performed. Experience with many
facility types and uses ensures an understanding of site conditions.
Enhancing the depth of knowledge related to environmental assessments,
is the firms principal's prior voting member position in the ASTM
committee that developed Phase 1 Standards.
Our Approach
Enable the transfer of real estate where parties involved understand the
likely presence or absence of adverse environmental conditions. Environmental
conditions are assessed in a thoughtful and detailed study of records pertaining
to past storage, practices, uses, notices, and violations, related
to hazardous or regulated
materials, as well as present conditions.
